- Act as the clinical liaison between Color Medical, Genetic Counselors and Care Advocate team and external partners, such as third party laboratory services. Coordinate tasks, address clinical concerns, assess urgency and escalate to Color Medical appropriately, per protocol and guidelines.
- Monitor patient lab adherence and escalate critical or urgent values per protocol to Color Medical staff.
- Serve as the point of contact for patients regarding lab results and questions.
- Monitor medication pick-up adherence and address patient inquiries about medications, treatment plans, and pharmacy-related questions.
- Monitor and manage referral requests and escalate for clinical assistance when needed.
- Conduct weekly Color Medical Chart Audits to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines/protocols.
- Gather and document patient information for monitoring and metric creation.
- Monitor physician schedules and progress of consults to ensure timely check-ins and encounter closures.
- Act as the first point of contact for physicians experiencing delays or technical issues. Inform patients of potential physician delays and reschedule as necessary.
- Monitor appointment availability, ensuring timely scheduling for patients in the clinician queue.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks, proactively addressing barriers and assisting responsible parties.
- Experience in a busy outpatient healthcare setting, including patient-facing clinical interactions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, including understanding of significance of lab results and interpretation of clinical guidelines, and ability to execute protocol-driven clinical decision-making.
- Ability to multitask, problem solve independently and escalate to appropriate individuals when necessary.
- Clear communication - verbally and in writing.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and protocols and document all activities thoroughly and accurately.
- Adaptability in a developing environment, flexibility and ability to work effectively in a variety of situations.
- Suited for a Licensed vocational nurse (LVN).

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Clinical Operations Coordinator to play a key role in the execution and optimization of our day to day clinical operations. Your primary focus will be streamlining clinical processes, supporting the Color Medical physicians and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a reliable, safe and high quality care and patient experience. The role requires clinical background and decision-making capability, as well as patient-facing experience in a busy healthcare setting (outpatient clinic or telehealth).

\nBase Salary Range: $71,000 - $87,000 per year
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business need. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
