Initiates, establishes, and sustains culturally responsive school partnerships for clinical placements that align with our teacher education program. This includes collaborating with school/district liaisons and administrators to build and maintain relationships, scheduling visits to recruit, assess, and select high-quality cooperating teachers (CT) and recommend new CT based on recruitment and liaison feedback while coordinating CT training with faculty.
Communicates with district partners regarding clinical policies and procedures and develops memoranda of understanding with partner districts.
Collaborates with Clinical Placement Coordinators for the placement of interns equitably and appropriately across districts.
Ensures clear communication among stakeholders, working collaboratively with diverse communities.
Prepares and disseminates clinical partnership reports with department leadership and other clinical stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement and inform compliance, federal reporting (Title II, IPEDS) and accreditation.
Facilitates clear communication among mentors, CTs, and seminar instructors.
Collaborates with faculty to ensure alignment of fieldwork expectations.
Works with Graduate and Undergraduate Program Coordinators to create and confirm clinical seminar sections, communicates with instructors, and confirms locations (on-site and on-campus).
Collaborates with the Clinical Year team to address any mentors/district/cooperating teacher concerns and resolve issues pertaining to student success.
Manages Workday accounts, including student fees, mentor travel reimbursements, and CTs/speakers’ honorariums.
Attends program, department, college, and university meetings as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Teacher Education, K-12 Educational Leadership, or related field.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in an institution of higher education in teacher education or related field.
Demonstrated ability for attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in performing organizational and clerical duties.
Demonstrated understanding of the cultural, social, political context of diverse communities.
Strong collaboration skills.
Demonstrated experience with student success.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply established university, college, and departmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ability to travel regionally to potential and current partner schools.
High-level proficiency with Google suite, Microsoft suite, Excel, Canvas or other desktop publishing programs, and social media.
Master’s degree in Teacher Education, K-12 Educational Leadership, or related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in and ability to multi-task and work effectively within a busy office environment and successfully prioritize multiple duties.
Demonstrated experience to problem-solve from a systems-oriented approach.

SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Chairperson, Department of Teaching and Learning (TLRN), the Clinical Partnership Coordinator provides coordinated clinical and administrative support for clinical placements within TLRN. The Clinical Partnership Coordinator works closely with faculty, school and community partners, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest-quality field placements for teacher education interns are supported and organized.
