      Get to Know Your Team:

      • Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

      Responsibilities

      The clinical pharmacist I optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.


      Qualifications

      Job Requirements:

      • B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
      • Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
      • Other applicable state requirements – i.e., sterile compounding, etc.
      • BLS & ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue).

      Preferred Job Requirements:

      • Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
      • 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
