- Process medication orders including drug dispensing, compounding, and distribution with accuracy and efficiency
- Deliver optimal pharmacotherapy that is safe and efficacious
- Clinical drug monitoring/consultation
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to manage patient drug therapies
- Daily reactive and targeted proactive medication regimen reviews within designated area(s)
- Quality assurance and improvement
- Provide drug information support or drug teaching upon request
- Willingness to precept pharmacy students and/or pharmacy residents
- Promote a positive work environment that contributes to a team focused work unit
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacist, State of Texas (or eligible by reciprocity or board examinations
- Be able to accurately and safely dispense drugs and drug information in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Previous pharmacy experience
