      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide clinical decision-making based on best practices and evidence-based medicine to determine optimal medication choices
      - Offer coverage recommendations for medications requiring prior authorization and conduct peer-to-peer conversations with healthcare professionals
      - Develop position papers, medication coverage policies, and formulary recommendations based on scientific literature and physician input
      - Collaborate on cross-functional projects related to pharmacy benefits, ensuring safety, quality, and affordability
      - Communicate clinical positions on medication analysis clearly and concisely

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or related field
      - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a clinical acute care/hospital setting or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Active and unrestricted pharmacy license in the state of practice
      - Strong clinical pharmacy background with demonstrated clinical therapy skills
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Successful completion of a pharmacy residency or advanced degree in a health-related field
      - Experience managing professional relationships in a managed care system or related organization
      - Knowledge of healthcare economics and pharmacy/provider service reimbursement
      - Familiarity with Medicare/CMS regulations and health care coding/payment systems
