Job summary
We are delighted to announce that we have a position to join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist. We have a growing list of 30,000 patients, with a diverse mix of inner city residents and students from Sheffield Hallam University.
Our large expanding team consists of doctors, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, nursing team (NPs, PNs, NAs, HCA), clinical pharmacy team (2 CPs and 2 pharmacy technicians) and first contact physiotherapists.
We work very closely with Sheffield Hallam University, and have a medical centre housed in the heart of the university.
Our most valuable asset is our staff and our reputation and we were rated Outstanding by the CQC in 2020.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to
Optimise the use of medicines
Improve the safety and quality of prescribing
Perform specific elements of general practices clinical workload
The post holder will be an independent prescriber or working towards an independent prescribing qualification.
