What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead assigned patient service lines and therapeutic programs, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care
- Conduct in-clinic visits, follow-up monitoring, patient education, and medication reconciliation
- Coordinate care for specialty medications to ensure access and affordability prior to therapy initiation
- Participate in pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, and quality improvement initiatives
- Facilitate educational experiences for pharmacy students and residents

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
- Eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Illinois or ability to complete licensure process within 60 days of employment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Significant clinical knowledge and expertise in patient-centered care and specialty medication therapy management
- Board Certification in area of expertise required within 18 months of hire

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Doctor of Pharmacy or another advanced degree preferred
- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency required; PGY-2 highly preferred
- Clinical pharmacy experience (2-4 years) in a hospital setting preferred
- Strong teaching and precepting skills in experiential training
