      Job summary

      Ambrose Avenue Group Practice is looking to recruit a clinical pharmacy technician to join our supportive clinical team in general practice. This position is available for both full-time and part-time work.

      As a member of our established team of pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff, you will contribute to our medicine management program, which includes conducting structured medication reviews for all our patients. If you are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care and have the determination and drive to face challenges head-on, you will thrive within our Primary Care Network (PCN).

      In this role, you will receive support to complete the primary care education pathway through the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE).

      Main duties of the job

      • Managing long-term condition clinics to review the ongoing need for each medication.
      • Undertaking clinical medication reviews.
      • Providing telephone medicines support.
      • Assisting with unplanned hospital admissions, review of medications and reconciling of medications.
      • Repeat prescribing.
      • Identification of high risk patients.
