      Clinical Program Senior Manager

      JOB SUMMARY

      The Sr Manager Clinical Pharmacist is responsible management of client operations health, managers, team leaders, and individual contributors including but not limited to forecasting (know and measure productivity measurements), cross-functional project management (inside/outside of individual departments), risk management (all D2D issues), and staffing/forecasting. Direct interface with Client Service Teams at Director/Sr Director Level as well as client leadership. Strong cross-functional expertise to work across various processes internally and externally to the department. The Sr Manager is also responsible for People and Team talent development.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Provide operational support for assigned ESI Markets (Health Plan - Commercial, HIX, Medicaid, Medicare) for plan changes, new implementations, and renewal activity.
      • Review, analyze, and verify intent of assigned benefit set ups as they relate to products and programs. Identify and communicate need for customization to support client benefit requirements; attend client calls/meetings as needed; attend internal validation meetings; run customized and scheduled reports, manage performance guarantee tracking and report distribution for internal/external clients as requested.
      • Adhere to all organizational SOPs and Compliance standards; provide subject matter input as it relates to checklists and SOPs
      • Assist with operation input related to new product development; identification, research and resolution of operational issues; provide training and mentoring for new team members, off-shore and contingent employee resources.
      • Provide assistance to team members with issues needing technical expertise and client specific requirements interpretation. Provide on-the-job training for new or existing team members.
      • Operational oversight of Day to Day operations - Productivity, Issue Management & Resolution. Handling of Account Team , Product Escalations. Overall SME representation for team to committees / forums.
      • Management of team personnel hiring including Full Time employee and contractors if applicable.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Pharmacist (BS, Pharm.D.) Degree Required.
      • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
      • Preferred experience in PBM and benefit set up knowledge.
      • Licensure preferred in any state.
      • Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

      Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated presentation skills; Detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions; Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines; Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions; Good organizational, prioritizing skills and ability to manage multiple work streams; Strong customer service focus; Demonstrated ability to work with other departments/teams to resolve issues.
