This is an exciting opportunity to join Southampton CAMHS as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist within the core specialist CAMHS team. This is a full time post based at CAMHS Horizon Centre in Southampton.
You will be part of a passionate and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team, delivering high quality interventions to children, young people and their families presenting with a range of psychological difficulties and complex life experiences.
You will get the opportunity to work with Service Managers, Associate Directors, staff within the Trust and partner agencies, You will also be working with service users and families, schools, and education leads in social care as required.
There will also be opportunities for supervision of Assistant Psychologists, as well as of other team members.
This would be an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience, and should not be missed.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a confident professional with a demonstrable track record of providing good quality evidence-based interventions and an interest in service improvement. We would welcome applications from clinical psychologists who share our passion for delivering the best quality care experience for children and their families. This role will be closely supported by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Principal Clinical Psychologists and Senior Clinical Psychologists across both Southampton and Portsmouth CAMHS, as well as by the CAMHS Team and Service Managers.
