Classification Title: Clinical Research Coordinator III
Job Description: The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our rapidly growing program at the University of Florida. This Clinical Research Coordinator will be an integral member of our sports and physical activity research program. This position is responsible for managing daily operations of the UF Health Sports Performance Center (SPC), collecting data from clients who obtain services in the SPC and for physical activity and exercise-related research.
Job duties include, but not limited to:Perform exercise and physical function testing; motion analysis and movement screening; data processing of client or research participant information.
Assist the Vice Chair of Research and physicians in the development and submission of research protocols.
Scheduling of research participants and clients; Create, collect, and process IRB and ONCORE documentation, clinical surveys, assessments, and questionnaires
Supervising intern activities in the SPC.
Monitor participants and study events to recognize and report adverse events and protocol deviations. Manage sponsor site visits and respond to data queries.
Regularly update information related to assigned sport and exercise research projects, and help develop content for presentations and meetings, participate in the creation of scholarly output.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Expected Salary: Commensurate with education & experience
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters’ degree in allied health professions or related field with some educational coursework in exercise physiology, metabolism, sports adaptations.
Certified strength and conditioning certification (CSCS) or other Exercise certification
