The Clinical Research Coordinator will work in a Neuroscience research program devoted to understanding the biological basis of human cognition studying brain activity from neurosurgical patients. Successful candidates will administer cognitive tasks to patients in a clinical environment while recording brain (electrophysiological) activity. Candidates are expected to interact with research and clinical staff, as well as with patients and families; therefore strong interpersonal skills are essential, and previous experience in clinical environments and patient-facing duties a plus.
The ideal candidate will in addition have strong communication and decision-making skills, a strong interest in Neuroscience and clinical research and must be able to work well independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team of researchers, clinicians and administrators.

The incumbent will also have management duties, supporting both the PI (calendar management, communication support, processing reimbursements, other related paperwork) and the laboratory and research projects (IRB protocol management, lab member onboarding and management, lab equipment supervision, supervision of safety and other lab protocols, preparation of updates for NIH and other funding agencies, database management, communication with collaborators, data organization and dissemination) so strong organizational skills are also essential.
