What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of conducting clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory standards
- Recruit, screen, enroll, and follow up with eligible subjects according to protocol requirements
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of regulatory documents related to clinical trials
- Act as a liaison between investigators, the institutional review board (IRB), and sponsors
- Conduct local travel throughout Hampton Roads as required for trial activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or equivalent required within 3 years of employment
- Minimum of three years of clinical research experience preferred
- Epic EMR and phlebotomy experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with clinical trials in oncology or cancer screening
- Familiarity with grant processes and national cancer institute protocols
- Strong organizational and communication skills
