What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of conducting clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocol guidelines and good clinical practices
- Recruit, screen, enroll, and follow up with eligible subjects according to protocol requirements
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of regulatory documents related to clinical trials
- Act as a liaison between investigators, the institutional review board (IRB), and the sponsor
- Local travel throughout Hampton Roads for trial-related activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or similar certification required within 3 years of employment
- Minimum of three years of clinical research experience preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR and phlebotomy preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in clinical trials or research, particularly in oncology or cancer screening
- Familiarity with grant processes and regulations related to clinical research
- Strong organizational and communication skills
