      JOB SUMMARY
      The Clinical Research Liaison will drive efforts to increase the local community awareness of the ECRC to include, but not limited to forging relationships with local practices, physicians, pharmacies, local medical and specialty societies/organizations, as well as leading direct-to-patient outreach by establishing relationships with community groups, patient support groups, and non-healthcare businesses.
      • Establish rapport while ensuring courteous and efficient service is provided to internal study teams and all customers including but not limited to the patients, subjects, potential subjects, doctors, and all levels within the company and the community
      • Maintain a working knowledge of ECRC ongoing studies and the site study pipeline
      • Forecast future growth opportunities for ECRC
      • Manage Elligo Clinical Research Center (ECRC) website to ensure current and accurate
      • Serve as subject matter expert with a thorough understanding of Austin area business conditions, physician community and participants, relating to the healthcare/research industry while sourcing new market participants, developing potential business partners, assessing competition and identifying business trends
      • Develop ECRC study relevant recruitment material and manage distribution for ECRC to ensure it is customized and targeted to the Austin area in collaboration with PE and other marketing/recruitment partners
      • Maintain a thorough understanding of GCP, HSP, ICH, IRB and HIPAA guidelines
      • Lead efforts to enrich the diversity, equity and inclusion of subgroups from within the Austin area communities for involvement in clinical trials at ECRC
      • Participate in health fairs and similar activities to promote education regarding clinical studies and recruit subjects for clinical trials
      • Must maintain confidentiality, prioritize and manage work effectively and provide exceptional customer service
      • May perform other duties not specifically listed in this job description as assigned by immediate supervisor

      QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
      Required:
      • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare related field required.
      • At least 5 years’ experience in a research or healthcare setting

      Preferred:
      • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional departments/groups
      • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
      • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with attention to detail
      • Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software (MS Office skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
      • Strong organization/prioritization skills for the management of multiple concurrent projects and tasks
      • Aptitude to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
      • Experience with working within a busy and fast-paced environment
      • Must possess a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality with HIPAA guidelines, patient matters and other sensitive information
      • Other duties as assigned by leadership

      WORKING CONDITIONS
      This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

      Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All full-time employees must work a minimum of 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

      Little (Less than10%) local travel is required for this position.
