What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide clinical triage and demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to deliver age-appropriate patient care
- Receive and document telephone requests from patients under the direction of the physician or designee in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Review patient data, including clinical updates, lab results, and implement physician orders
- Respond to calls regarding acute/chronic illnesses, assess patient complaints, and document findings in the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians to provide education to patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or an accredited nursing program
- Current certification/license from an approved medical assisting or nursing organization
- Must have high-speed internet service for remote work
- HIPAA-compliant workspace, including desk and ergonomic needs
- Licensure for both Indiana and Kentucky if holding an RN or LPN license, or appropriate compact licensure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare-related role is preferred but not required
