      Clinical Study Units (CSUs) are our experts with deep knowledge and know-how of clinical trial delivery in our key strategic countries and are one of the closest links to our clinical investigators and patients, setting up the company studies within each relevant country, and delivering quality data, as much as maintaining site and patient engagement in the longer term. The CSUs are supported by the relevant affiliate functions (medical, regulatory, external affairs) and the country HCP network to successfully conduct our trials.

      Key Accountabilities:

      • The aim of the CSU Team Leader is to provide direct line management and leadership of the assigned functions to ensure successful study delivery. The CSU Team Leader ensures that appropriate staffing is assigned and that projects are managed to appropriate quality within the scope of responsibility. The CSU Team Leader drives identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks in support of business KPIs.

      • The CSU Team Leader will have direct line management responsibility for assigned roles (e.g., COSCLs) and for ensuring the performance, training, coaching, mentoring, motivation, and development of individuals under his/her management. This position will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of study commitments. The CSU Team Leader will be responsible for resource management within his/her group in agreement with country/region defined commitments. The CSU Team Leader provides oversight, operational support, and drives his/her team to ensure they carry out their activities in a timely fashion and with a continuous quality approach to guarantee PAI readiness.

      • The CSU Team Leader will act as the key operational interface with internal and external services to develop, implement, maintain, and improve processes for clinical trial conduct. The CSU Team Leader will partner with the appropriate functions (e.g., Quality representatives at the Cluster/Country level, Cluster/Country Head) to implement processes and system improvements. The CSU Team Leader may support innovative solutions by participating in pilots and/or initiatives.

      • The CSU Team Leader may also assume operational oversight for satellite countries under the responsibility of the CSU Türkiye and Middle East Cluster.

      About You:

      • University Degree in a science/medical or related field

      • 7+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience

      • Preferably 3+ years of experience in clinical trial management and/or line management

      • English and Turkish language proficiency

      • Broad scientific knowledge within several therapeutic areas
