      The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring all clinical functions for the partial hospital program.

      Job Duties / Essential Functions

      Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated by attending bi-annual training on the continuum and communicating with associates between levels of care and actively seeking opportunities to share information about the continuum with consumers as evidenced by written documentation in the client record.

      Provide clinical guidance and/or debriefings for crisis situations.

      Assist with clinical coverage as needed (IT, FT, and group).

      Attend ITT Meetings and ensure meetings are focused, comprehensive, and appropriate in goal and discharge planning. Assist in the performance and/or observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are verbally or physically threatening or otherwise present a threat to themselves or others 5.

      Ensure continued risk assessment and risk management related to each individual child and to the overall assigned program.

      Maintain a fiscal awareness regarding census and budget related issues Within the assigned program,

      provide oversight, supervision, and when necessary direct involvement with both internal and external customers, maintaining positive customer relationships and facilitating open lines of communication to best address the needs of the children in our care.

      Coordinate consultations, assessments, admissions, and utilization reviews with the noted departments, as needed

      Maintain professional licensure.

      Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, development, and training of all clinical staff.

      Ensure daily program schedule is consistent and meets all guidelines of the Program Description Design, implement, and monitor new and innovate approaches in the delivery of clinical services to a specified population.

      Ensure that all standards of documentation are upheld based on policies and regulation for all clinical staff (MHW/Clinicians)

      Within the assigned program, ensure that all standards of ethical behavior, professional conduct, and mental health requirements are followed

      Collaborate with the Program Manager on the delivery of all clinical services to the assigned population.

      Complete weekly billing audits to ensure compliance and accuracy with daily notes.

      Monitor and track all treatment plans to ensure compliance and billing. .

      Provide routine trainings to MHWs and clinicians progress notes and documentation standards. .

      All other duties as assigned by management.
