Provide clinical supervision to a team of three to four MST therapists.(This could potentially increase to 8 therapists)

Coordinate, train, and provide ongoing clinical supervision for existing and new program services.

Deliver MST treatment to a caseload of 1-2 families, if needed to address program and community needs.

Conduct regular case reviews and provide feedback to therapists on clinical assessments, treatment programs, and intervention strategies.

Collaborate with MST therapists to develop and refine individualized treatment plans based on the needs of clients and families.

Participate in hiring, training, and onboarding of new MST therapists as needed.

Coordinate with Program Directors, MST experts, and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of MST services and achievement of program goals.

Coach and support therapists to develop and refine individualized treatment plans based on the needs of clients and families.

Master’s Degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required.

Experience providing clinical supervision and training to mental health professionals, preferably in the context of MST or similar evidence-based programs.

Strong understanding of family systems theory, behavior therapy principles, and adolescent development.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with the Program Director, MST Experts, and external stakeholders.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.

Join our mission-driven team as an MST Supervisor at our CSI Secaucus, NJ location. You’ll play a key role in overseeing and guiding the clinical work of the MST therapists, ensuring that services provided to the clients are of high quality, ethical and effective. The MST Supervisor will be required to provide on-call support to our therapists implementing MST. MST Supervisors can be required to drive an average of 30-45 minutes from the CSI Secaucus, NJ Office. This role is community-based and requires travel to locations in the Secaucus, NJ area.
What is Multisystemic Therapy (MST)?
Multisystemic Therapy (MST) typically targets chronic, violent, or substance-abusing juvenile offender ages 12 through 17. MST’s home-based therapy design helps overcome barriers to service, increases family retention in treatment, allows for the provision of the intensive services (i.e., therapists have a maximum of 6 cases), and enhances the maintenance of successful behavior change.
