- Req#: 81260444992
- Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and Monitor Technician.
- Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Medical Assistant, Registered
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Emergency Medical Technician
- Will also need to be CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certified upon hire or within 60 days
- One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
