      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Schedule patient appointments, including endoscopy procedures, via phone or electronic communication
      - Obtain and communicate lab or radiology results to physicians and patients as necessary
      - Prepare requests for prescription refills and provide relevant information to patients and their families
      - Respond promptly to emails and voicemails, ensuring timely communication with patients
      - Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality regarding patient information

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - Minimum of 2-3 years of specialty clinical experience, with gastroenterology experience preferred
      - Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred
      - Proficient in healthcare systems and Microsoft Office applications
      - Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and co-workers

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous experience in a Patient Service Center or similar healthcare environment
      - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
      - Compassionate demeanor when dealing with patients in need
      - Experience with phone triage and medical records management
      - Ability to work well under pressure and meet performance standards
