Job Description

- Serve as the first point of contact for staff and providers experiencing clinical system issues or needing guidance.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and resolution for EHR/EMR, scheduling systems, order entry, and related clinical applications.
- Escalate technical issues to senior analysts or vendor support when needed, ensuring clear documentation of the issue and steps taken.
- Assist with onboarding and training for new employees on system use and hospital workflows.
- Maintain and update user manuals, quick reference guides, and help desk documentation.
- Monitor help desk tickets and ensure timely and courteous responses to end users.
- Assist with clerical and administrative support tasks related to system access, user account management, training sessions, and data entry.
- Support daily operations such as printing reports, processing routine requests, and gathering system usage metrics.
- Participate in system testing during upgrades or new releases under the direction of senior analysts.
- Coordinate scheduling for support sessions, training events, and follow-up meetings with departments
- Utilize the organization's secure messaging platform in accordance with departmental protocols, including, but not limited to, receipt and timely responses to communications related to on-call responsibilities

- Prioritize tasks effectively through managing workload based on urgency and importance
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Continuously learn and improve through staying up to date on job specific trends, policies and new technologies
- Successfully demonstrate organization-wide performance review competencies
- Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S.
- Associate’s degree in health information technology, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required
- Prior Hospital experience in clinical application support, help desk support, or clerical/administrative roles involving EHR systems is preferred
- Must possess a cell phone that interfaces with the organization’s secure messaging system

Job Summary:
