      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Independently manage a team of research staff coordinating, monitoring, and advancing oncology clinical trials
      - Oversee trial coordination, regulatory maintenance, and compliance across multiple sites
      - Act as a central communications liaison for clinical trial collaborators and stakeholders
      - Provide first-line supervision and training for research staff, ensuring quality performance
      - Assist in program initiatives and stay current with federal regulations related to clinical research

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BA/BS degree required; Master's degree preferred
      - Minimum of 3 years of research experience required; 4 years preferred
      - Minimum of 1 year of management experience required
      - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
      - Familiarity with the Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) and Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior supervisory experience within a clinical research setting, preferably in the Cancer Center Protocol Office
      - Proven ability to manage diverse teams and work styles effectively
      - Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to potential issues
      - Knowledge of current and developing clinical research trends
