      This role involves a combination of clinical expertise , product development, training, and support activities. The clinical product specialist represents the clinical end user within the Business. With clinical qualification & experience working in a Radiation Oncology clinic, you will provide clinical expertise to aid in the development of new technologies and products following the product creation process. Additionally, you will be supporting Elekta’s portfolio of established products, this includes delivering new features, and product training to Elekta colleagues and pilot customers and proactively investigating and resolving Pilot issues.

      As a Clinical Product Specialist´s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

      • Collaborate with Product Owners/Managers and User-Centered Design teams to provide clinical input during the product creation process.

      • Ensure that user needs, especially those of clinical end-users, are adequately addressed in the development of new technologies and products.

      • Develop training, implementation, and support plans for limited-release phases of new products or releases.

      • Deliver clinical training and support for customers during limited-release phases.

      • Gather and provide customer feedback to relevant teams for further improvement.

      • Develop and deliver clinical training programs for different departments in preparation for general product release.

      • Assist in updating demonstration software for both software and hardware products.

      • Conduct product demonstrations at trade shows, conferences, or customer sites as directed.

      • Assist regional support teams on clinical issues and handle escalated clinical application support issues.

      • Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments, both within the Validation & Pilot Release team as well as other areas of the business, i.e. Service Engineering group when required .

      • Lead, organize, and participate in validation activities for products in the Oncology Portfolio.

      • Manage customer-led validation activities to obtain user feedback for product development.

      • Stay updated on advances in radiotherapy through site visits, conferences, user meetings, and analysis of scientific literature.

      • Participate in continuous professional development programs, including training courses aligned with the company's appraisal process.

      • Provide input into marketing material, including print, electronic media, video, photo shoots, to effectively communicate product features and benefits.

      • Maintain regular contact with end-users to understand their needs and provide relevant information .

      Relevant knowledge, skills and competencies

      • BSc degree (or equivalent) in Health Care is preferred.

      • Qualification as a medical professional with clinical treatment experience essential.

      • Minimum of 4 years Radiation Oncology clinical experience using Elekta products.

      • Must be self-motivated and able to interact well with others. Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills is a key success in this position.

      • Excellent written, verbal and IT Communication skills.

      • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to ~35%.
