      Manufacturing Associate (Clipper Tie or Class B) - $20.20/hour

      Who we are looking for:

      We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Associate (Clipper Tie or Class B) to be based out of Hebron, OH. Reporting to Manufacturing Supervisor, the Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for running a clip gun, loading magazines, and clipping coil loops together in a line along with wire tie operation and packaging.

      What you’ll do:

      • Adherence to Atkore Safety / Life Saving Rules is paramount
      • Demonstrate core values
      • Regular attendance and punctuality
      • Clips coil loops together using an air-operated clip gun
      • Change magazines or feeds strips of clips into clip guns
      • Moving baskets or coils into position
      • Removes tie wires (WIP-type products)
      • Aligning barbs or loops into the proper position prior to clipping
      • Removing extra clips
      • Daily cleaning of the work area

      What you’ll bring:

      • High school diploma and at minimum 1-year manufacturing-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Lean concept sustainment & problem-solving skills
      • Safety action orientated
      • Flexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekends
      • Must have an outgoing positive attitude, be a team player and have a strong work ethic
      • Demonstrates Atkore Core Behaviors – Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence
      • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally team lift more than 50 pounds. Be able to push and pull extremely heavy loads using leverage tools
      • Ensure proper clipping sequences are met
      • Look for damaged barbs and verify quality product

      Within 3 months, you’ll:

      • Setting up the work area
      • Minor mechanical repairs or adjustments
      • Loading magazines
      • Assist roll former with minor adjustments and material changes
