- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (I.e., a Diploma or Degree in a related field and less years of direct work experience)

The Regional Support Clerk provides a range of administrative and clerical services in support of the Business Risk Management Branch’s various programs (AgriStability, Production Insurance, Wildlife Damage Compensation) with a specific focus on customer service.
As a representative for these programs the Clerk provides customers with information about the programs and guidelines, provides application packages and forms, assists with completion of program related documentation, and accepts fees and applications for these programs. The position supports the Program Representatives in responding to customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring timelines specified in program guidelines are met, and obtains information to assist verification staff and claims staff with the verification and benefit processes. The incumbent is often the first line of contact for producers, agriculture sector representatives and other stakeholders, ensuring the timely communication of information and response to requests while maintaining positive working relationships and a well-organized office environment.

You have sound judgement, good problem-solving skills, and are adept at handling public inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
