      The role will be based in Los Angeles, CA or Houston, TX with the expectation of a hybrid work model.

      The Leveraged Finance Team, based in Los Angeles and Houston, is seeking an individual to work within the CLO Tranche team along with the portfolio managers, traders, and the Head of CLO Analytics. The individual will report to Laila Kollmorgen, the CLO Tranche Portfolio Manager. We seek an individual who is team oriented, energetic, and keen on learning.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Analyze CLO Tranche investments and learn PineBridge’s process in analyzing CLO tranches with the Head of CLO Analytics. This Associate will also learn how to integrate our proprietary system into the analytical process.
      • Review CLO documentation, learning to recognize the risks and benefits of certain CLO structures, collateral quality and performance tests.
      • Work with the market and trade CLO Tranches with the CLO Trader and portfolio managers. Experience is not required as it is important that one exhibits both the interest and capacity to learn how to trade fixed income securities.
      • Collaborate with the Portfolio Managers of PineBridge managed CLOs, providing primary and secondary market color.
      • Provide feedback to Credit Analysts regarding external CLO Managers’ credit views on specific sectors and/or credits.
      • Conduct due diligence meetings on external CLO Managers.
      • Assist the Business Development team regarding portfolio metrics and performance.
      • Support the Marketing team with providing data for updating presentations.

      Qualifications:

      • MBA/Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business/Finance or relevant majors or a BS in Business/Finance. CFA designation is helpful.
      • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
      • Strong bond math/fixed income analytical skill-set.
      • Familiarity with CLOs or securitization.
      • Familiarity with reading CLO or securitization offering memoranda and related documentation.
      • Experience using Intex and CLO structuring is helpful.
      • Familiarity with credit analysis is helpful.
      • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
      • Self-starter and an entrepreneurial thinker with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

      *Salary Range: $130,000-150,000 base salary + bonus + benefits
