You will work as part of the Programme Infrastructure and Environments Team Building and supporting the pre-production environments through all phases of testing through to production go live. The role reports to the Programme Environments Team Manager and will cover all aspects of the cloud application build, release and support.

Applicant needs to possess strong Middleware administration and development skills (at least four years’ experience).

You will also be responsible for complex defect diagnoses across multiple integrated applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate Middleware components as per designs.

• Assist with third parties in the build of Pre-Production Application servers as per designs.

• Deploy Middleware releases to Pre-Production environments as per release notes.

• Provide support for testing defects across all programme pre-production environments.

• Gain understanding of ULEX solution and provide support for hybrid and cloud solutions during testing.

• Provide Early Life support for go live of all programme deliverables.

• Provide input into tooling required to manage applications in Hybrid and cloud solutions.

• Provide Knowledge transfer to BAU to support Hybrid and Cloud solutions for ULEX.

• Work closely and efficiently with team members, other colleagues and third parties to ensure programme requirements are fully achieved.

• Provide additional out of hours and on call support as required.

• Perform out of hours changes as required by the business.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Experience working with AAG SQL clusters (Always Available Groups).

• Familiarity with TFS (Team Foundation Services).

• Familiarity with Visual Studio SSDT tools.

• Knowledge of TfL Applications and business processes.
