      Opportunity

      Within our EMEA/ APAC-wide Internship Program CareerStart@sas we’re offering a 6-month full-time internship in our Customer Advisory department as a Cloud and solution architect within the Platform team.

      The Cloud and Solution architect intern has to be someone who wants to understand and learn the complete SAS architecture ecosystem, and who wants to apply new trends in software and technology architecture, with the help of experience architect within the team, in the platform practice.

      Essential business domais where you are going to be involved, always with a team mate to assits you, are:

      • Working with the sales team on technical activities to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
      • Co-operating with sales in developing customer account strategies, assessment of customer needs and critical sales issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
      • Providing consultative services, including architecture recommendations to support proposed solutions.
      • Translating business requirements into SAS technical solutions and linking to business value.
      • Identifying appropriate architecture, applications, tools and solutions for targeted accounts.
      • Preparing technical demonstrations, proof of concepts and presentations based on client needs.
      • Conducting discovery meetings to collect, analyze, clarify and document business requirements during the sales cycle to support the implementation team and produce a detailed solution proposal.
      • Developing familiarity with company sales initiatives, product positioning, pricing, proposals and models.
      • Preparing and answering RFI and RFP to accomplish customer requirement in the discovery phase.

      Required qualifications:

      • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program at the end of course. Or, you are a fresh graduate.
      • Target majors include all the STEM faculties, Quantitative Finance or equivalent.

      Preferred qualifications

      • Basic knowledge of software engineering.
      • Familiarity with Linux.
      • Basic knowledge of system and databases administration.
      • Programming language Knowledge such us Python, R, Java, SQL, SAS is preferred.
      • Diagraming capabilities to express architecture concepts from a high level until a detailed level.
