      Who we’re looking for

      Connected Technologies is a newly formed group within Toyota, focused on delivering industry-leading user experiences and new technologies for our Toyota and Lexus vehicles. We’re looking for a passionate and highly motivated Cloud Devops Engineer III for our growing Cloud Devops Engineering team! You will have an amazing opportunity to act as Subject Matter Expert of the Cloud Infrastructure Services setup for Toyota’s telematic infrastructure in North American Region.

      You will be responsible for ideating, creating, updating, and reviewing system architecture, and sequence diagrams. There will be opportunities to troubleshoot other region infrastructure code deployments.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Write well-defined and tested code (IaC - Terraform)

      • Build pipeline (Good CICD experience)

      • Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes

      • Solve complex problems around connected vehicle technology for mobility and telematics

      • Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases

      • Adapt new technologies, tools, and processes from the organization as needed

      • Communicate well with team members and work collaboratively

      • Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system

      • Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems

      • Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems

      • Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products

      • System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms

      What you bring:

      • Good experience with cloud services (AWS), cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a service

      • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

      • Experience with source control and continuous integration tools

      Technical/Tools Requirements:

      • Technical Expertise in the networking concepts of AWS and all the major resources in AWS like Elastic Kubernetes Service, Route 53, Cloud Front, S3, API Gateway, ECS, etc. and also have experience in maintaining highly complex solutions with AWS Components

      • Developed dynamic Config for terraform to create multiple environments using the same TF module with deployment tools like Helm, GitLab

      • Worked on all aspects of Kubernetes like service-mesh, ingress, services, service-discovery, secrets, and config management with disaster recovery solutions and also worked on an initiative to Automate the Active-Active Strategies using Terraform, AWS Route 53, and Route 53 health check solution
