  Role Responsibilities

  In support of Secureworks Cloud strategy, the Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for securing, optimizing, and maintaining Public Cloud Infrastructure. Collaborating with the internal CCOE (Cloud Center of Excellence), the Cloud DevOps Engineer is a problem solver who will develop the systems, controls and processes necessary to automate and streamline Public Cloud infrastructure consumption.

  • Be an active member of an agile/scrum engineering team, collaboratively developing solutions supporting consumption of Public Cloud in an optimized and secure fashion
  • Responsible for developing systems and automation framework necessary to address the challenges of Public Cloud infrastructure consumption
  • Design and lead the effort on automation, CI/CD processes and orchestration necessary to make our services automated and simpler to consume
  • Responsible for managing Public Cloud environments in accordance with corporate security guidelines

  Minimum Requirements

  • BS in CS related field
  • 5+ years experience building and supporting business critical systems on Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • 5+ years experience with configuration and compliance tools (AWS Control Tower, AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, etc.)
  • 3-5 years experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
  • 3-5 years experience working with Public Cloud networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, etc.)

  Preferred Skills

  • Experience with security and compliance considerations (PCI, SOC2, etc.) in a Public Cloud environment
  • Experience with traditional networking concepts (dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), switching (spanning tree, etc.), DNS, etc.)
  • Experience with managing container technology (Kubernetes, Rancher, etc.) in a Public Cloud environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, written and organizational skills; ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact, build relationships, communicate well as part of an engineering team.
  • Ability to partner with other areas of the business in the capacity of technology leader, ensuring operational consistency across the organization.
