What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Manage multi-account cloud environments in compliance with DoD security requirements
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines and develop containerization strategies
- Conduct regular security assessments and ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and RMF requirements
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical support for deployment and infrastructure issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5+ years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS cloud services
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Strong understanding of GovCloud (US) patterns and boundary controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, and/or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- Kubernetes certifications: CKA/CKS
- Mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins)
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile methodology
- Understanding of RMF accreditation and control implementation under NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5
