      About the role:

      Type: Full Time Salaried

      Compensation: $150,000 (target); 15% performance bonus

      Location: Remote

      Hours: Full Time Days

      What to Expect:

      We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting, implementing, and managing our Azure cloud platform under the direction of our Sr. Cloud Architect. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of our cloud platform, a proven track record in cloud container planning, and will serve as a key point of contact with our third-party development team.

      This role requires close collaboration with development engineers and product teams to optimize the platform in a healthcare environment.

      Responsibilities:

      • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure in Azure.
      • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or similar.
      • Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management tasks using Terraform.
      • Monitor systems performance and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across the stack.
      • Ensure high system availability and disaster recovery preparedness.
      • Implement and advocate for SRE best practices: SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, postmortems.
      • Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure, adhering to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
      • Collaborate with software engineers to improve system reliability and deploy new features.
      • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.

      Qualifications

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
      • U nderstanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
      • Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center.
      • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
      • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer and Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
