Provide expertise and leadership in cloud infrastructure, cloud services architecture and application space
Work closely with engineering teams, DevOps, Cloud-Ops team to develop, direct and implement reliable and future-proof cloud solutions
Partner in cloud security and compliance requirements into the cloud architecture framework, including for the data integration points with on-premise and other cloud systems.
Participate with a cross department-functional team to establish a cloud operational governance framework
Present technical concepts and specific solutions to internal and external audiences of varying technical capabilities in a clear, concise and easily understood manner.
Define and document the cloud reference architecture and drive its implementation across all the cloud components.
Lead significant production improvements, drive to achieve a high degree of automation, security, and performance management
Champion and advocate for the adoption of best design practices and ensure Stryker cloud products are built consistently and aligned to the expressed cloud architecture
Responsible for the overall systems architecture and design in the larger context of complex heterogeneous systems.
Experienced on multiple technological platforms.
Responsible for choosing the right technology platform for implementing an architected solution.
Hands-on experience across several disciplines.
Serves as domain expert in all aspects of architecting, designing and application development.
Formulates deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for Stryker systems.
Investigates new technology solutions, builds prototypes.
Provides consultation on complex projects and considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist.
Business and financial acumen - great knowledge and understanding of basic business and data flow is required.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the systems development concepts, practices, and procedures.
Writes specifications, develops architectural concepts and artifacts.
Mentors and develops architects and technical leads.
B.S. Degree in a Relevant Field
Languages: English mandatory, others are a plus
Training/Certification: ITIL, Azure Architect
8 + years of experience in IT/IS, with a track record of success in a variety of roles (operations, projects, strategy, liaison with business leaders) and IS functions (Cloud and AD)
Experience working with global teams and complex operating environment (Fortune 500 or similar).
Experience on ITIL/ISO standards and compliance
Development and execution of global strategies (including planning, financials, PM, change management)
Excellent written and verbal communication; enjoys sharing knowledge and teaching
Work Flexibility: HybridWe are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect in Warsaw, Poland who will be responsible for developing architectural designs globally for integrated systems within and across Shared Service Platforms. In this role the Cloud Solutions Architect will partner with Business Partners, Digital, and R&D to understand the overall business need, define overarching requirements and create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and develop an overarching architectural design and model that will support Stryker’s business needs. The Cloud Solutions architect will also play a significant role within the Architecture Review Board in defining application standards, and driving the final decision on solution and vendor selection. The incumbent will additionally lead solution development and implementation for new systems and enhancements and participate in defining technical standards for the specialty area.
