GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide first-line technical support for customers experiencing issues with the site functionalities, such as account creation, filling out applications, uploading documents and submission process.
• Troubleshoot website performance issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions or escalate to developers as needed.
• Analyze user reports, error logs, and other data to diagnose problems and identify trends.
• Document and maintain internal knowledge base for application usage and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide technical support to internal teams using chat based and ticket-based communications.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose and resolve complex application issues impacting internal workflows.
• Participate in user acceptance testing for new application features and versions.QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• 3+ years of experience in web application support or software support.
• High sense of urgency and drive to resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to apply and retain knowledge transfers in single sessions.
• Script first mentality for automation and code debugging.
• Strong understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL queries.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document procedures clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems using a logical and analytical approach.
• Expertise in Linux operating systems, especially Ubuntu, AL2 and AL2023.
• Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Basic python, shell, Java and JavaScript knowledge.
• Application performance monitoring (APM).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years professional experience in Cloud Operations and Web application monitoring.
• AWS is a plus.SALARY RANGE
