      Our Cloud solutions are enablers of the digital transformation for business and our normal life. One of the enabling technologies for the digital transformation is Cloud computing, this will enable a completely other way of working for the business.

      In order to support this, NXP-IT formed a Cloud Center of Excellence (Cloud CoE) reporting directly into the CIO. The Cloud CoE’s goal is to enable accelerated and sustainable adoption of Cloud across the enterprise (both business and IT) - maximizing the ability to realize its benefits while reducing risk.

      The Cloud CoE is responsible for defining the strategy and policy for Cloud Computing, driving and implementing cloud landing platforms, running Proof of concepts, piloting emerging cloud services (e.g. Machine learning, data lake, AI) and supporting business-initiatives in adopting Cloud technologies ( including the organizational change).

      As the Cloud Data Platform Product Owner you are challenged to create the product roadmap in line with vision and stakeholder expectation, be responsible for prioritization of the backlog items which (s)he and the team will implement.

      You have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud. You show a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.

      Your Responsibilities

      • Be responsible to create and own a well-informed cloud data platform product roadmap and manage the adoption process by stakeholders

      • Develop, and implement Cloud data platforms, adhering to the compliancy and security guardrails

      • Design, implement and maintain a fully automated Cloud landing data platform, to enable a smooth and secure way for business and IT teams to develop and deploy Cloud based services

      • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and underlying tooling for Cloud based IT services

      • Design implement processes and tooling to monitor and improve the operational, security and performance health status of the products

      • Work in DevOps / Scrum settings and apply techniques of continuous verification & delivery to ensure the quality of our products and services. You built it , you run it

      • Regularly evaluate cloud solutions, technologies, hardware, and software to create a roadmap for Cloud Data Platform Team

      • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner

      • Be evangelist of Cloud computing to the rest of NXP

      • Stay up to speed with the newest Cloud technologies

      • Pro-actively collaborate with other IT teams and business teams

      • Actively participate in communities / forums / guilds on Cloud computing (both external and internal to NXP)

      Our team

      The Cloud CoE is a team of dedicated and passionate IT professionals. The team consists of 3 groups: a cloud platform team, a cloud data platform team and a cloud migration team. The Cloud CoE team is based in 2 locations: Eindhoven, The Netherlands and Bangalore, India.

      You will report to the head of Cloud Center of Excellence.

      Your profile

      We are looking for you showing the following characteristics:

      • Msc or Bsc degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering with tangible experience designing, executing and supporting IT Cloud Solutions

      • Understand (business) requirement and translate these in technical solutions

      • Proven experience in software engineering techniques, cloud-native architecture and supporting tooling

      • Prior experience in working on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar) and microservice-architecture oriented solutions is a definite plus

      • Knowledge of the DevOps culture and principles.

      • Up to date and proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and supportive tooling

      • Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats, current best practices, and latest software.

      Furthermore you:

      • Have strong teamwork and communication skills.

      • Are organized, efficient, and results-driven

      • Are technical, creative, analytical, open-minded and transparent on own work

      • Are eager to learn and not afraid to take initiative. You know how to learn from failure

      • Have great English communication skills, both verbally as in writing

      • Have technical background and affinity with R&D

      Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
