  We are seeking an outstanding Software engineer to play a key role in developing an industry-leading HPE cloud solution – HPE GreenLake cloud platform. The HPE GreenLake Cloud Platform team is building HPE’s next generation cloud platform. Combining agile methodologies and a continuous integration and delivery pipeline, the GreenLake Cloud Platform partners with the entire company, and powers HPE’s transformation as a true cloud provider: the cloud that comes to you.   You will be joining an agile, empowered team, focused on building a range of applications and features for HPE GreenLake. The team leverages the latest cloud, micro-frontend, microservice based technologies – GoLang, Java, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Kubernetes, Istio, knative, Postgres, Kafka, Prometheus and many more.

  
  Responsibilities:

  - Design and develop on-premise and cloud server-side software
  - Collaborate across the broader GreenLake team to design and develop features that extend and enhance the power of GreenLake platform
  - Design and develop distributed, high-throughput, low-latency, highly available, and resilient systems
  - Develop unit, integration, system or any tests that are needed to help the team deliver value quickly, with a high degree of quality
  - Help address customer field issues in response to support escalations, customer requests, etc.
  - Document functional and technical specifications for application enhancements

  
  Education and Experience:

  - BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  -4+ years of experience in distributed systems and object-oriented programming using GoLang.

  - Product development experience is preferred.
  - 4+ years experience of development using containers and virtual machines including VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices etc.
  - Strong understanding of distributed frameworks, micro services, cloud environments.
  - Some experience in API development.
  - Good understanding of GitHub Actions or Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  - Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  Annual Salary: $113,000.00 - $259,500.00
