      Position Profile

      Our Interns will apply their education to meaningful projects in a team environment alongside a technical mentor. You will be exposed to many levels of management within our company concluding with an end of summer presentation to the executive team. Throughout the summer you will have the opportunity to acquire technical and professional skills, to participate in team building activities, and to enjoy social events in the Rocky Mountain region.

      Job Duties and Responsibilities

      As a Cloud Engineering Intern at Ricoh, you will dive into the dynamic world of cloud computing, Business Intelligence (BI), and data analytics. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies, BI tools like Sisense, and real-world projects. You will work closely with our cloud engineering team to support the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions. Your contributions will directly impact our goal of optimizing customer OEE scores while reducing system downtime and service costs.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS services
      • Collaborate with senior cloud engineers to develop and optimize cloud-based applications and services, integrating BI solutions using Sisense to analyze system logs from continuous forms printers
      • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues to ensure system reliability and performance
      • Support the implementation of security best practices to safeguard cloud environments and sensitive data
      • Document processes, procedures, and project work for knowledge sharing within the team
      • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing, BI, and data analytics

      QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

      • Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
      • Students should be pursuing a degree in BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
      • Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
      • Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire

      Required Skills:

      • Proficient with JavaScript, Angular, and Python
      • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, with a strong interest in AWS
      • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
      • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
      • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

      Preferred Skills:

      • Familiarity with BI tools like Sisense is a plus but not mandatory
