Drive holistic design & patterns for secure cloud application environments, Cloud platform enhancements, application architecture, data services, and cloud service integrations.
Conduct technical reviews of existing architectures, including data security, performance, availability, reliability, scalability, and monitoring.
Identify and analyze cloud architecture gaps. Propose new technologies, establish pilots for proposed solutions, and make recommendations for approval.
Architect cloud solutions for various application architectures and integration of cloud applications, data services, and infrastructure. Develop application data architecture models to enable effective service-oriented delivery.
Assess application solutions for cloud compatibility, ensuring optimal design and performance.
Assist key stakeholders to architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage Cloud services. Collaborates with other architects, operations/infrastructure, and delivery teams to ensure new services align with application & infrastructure roadmaps.
Partner with other stakeholders to drive the creation of the Cloud migration & transformation strategy and infrastructure roadmaps across application, information, business, and technology landscapes.
Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specifications, as well as create and maintain templates.
Drive meetings with subject matter experts from all business areas, including infrastructure, operations, applications, vendors, and leads to seek input and plan/coordinate migrations, resource requirements, and timelines.
Engage with external vendors to review solutions, new capabilities, products, and service offerings.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and or equivalent industry experience
Deep understanding of cloud design patterns, Cloud Native Architecture and principles, cloud operations, and cloud security models
4-5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in designing and configuring secure and scalable cloud platforms patterns on Microsoft Azure
Thorough understanding of Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Functions, Integration Services, Azure storage, and Azure AD.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automated cloud infrastructure deployment.
Proven and demonstrable experience in architecting, designing, and implementing high volume, high availability cloud applications with a high degree of automation.
Demonstrated ability to deal with abstract and concrete concepts and reconcile them for the appropriate audience and context.
Proven ability to maintain a strategic long-term outlook and enterprise perspective while supporting tangible, business-driven, and IT-delivered solutions.
Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, flowcharts, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of application modeling languages/techniques (e.g., UML, OML)
Quickly understand organizational dynamics and management priorities and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven company.
Demonstrate strong facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead an in-depth client meeting/workshop across a broad range of topics, including discovery, cloud compliance, and security.

Job Purpose/Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate professional for a Cloud Solutions Architect position having extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. This role will support business and technology cloud initiatives, focusing on our 3 to 5-year cloud technology roadmap, facilitating innovation, and adopting next-generation technologies. You will be working in a highly collaborative role that connects with subject matter experts from the business, information technology, delivery teams, and other architecture teams, as well as principal Architects.
Your experiences span designing, documenting, and implementing cloud and application patterns, participating in reviewing patterns with other stakeholders, working with team members and stakeholders to codify best practices, and advising business technology teams on using cloud patterns to develop application solution designs.
