- Manage and optimize our cloud platforms (AWS and GCP) and on-premise compute (VxRail/VMware).
- Perform advanced Linux systems engineering tasks to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline our operations.
- Test software applications and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues.
- Maintain documentation of systems configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on DevOps, Systems Administration, and Cloud Systems Administration.
- Proven experience managing AWS and GCP environments.
- Experience with on-premise compute, specifically VxRail/VMware.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems engineering.
- Experience with automation tools and techniques.
- Experience testing software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Python, and Python web applications, such as Flask
- Experience with next.js and react.js web applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on DevOps, Systems Administration, and Cloud Systems Administration.
- Proven experience managing AWS and GCP environments.
- Experience with on-premise compute, specifically VxRail/VMware.
