Compensation Range

Hourly: $20.45 - $23.80 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to the Commerce Trust and Capital Market front office sales staff and customers through trade settlement, payment processing, pledging, securities cashiering and bond safekeeping.

Essential Functions

• Process income payments related to Federal Reserve Bank and State Street Bank

• Verify and balance income activity and submit uploads to Corporate Finance for end of day balancing

• Disburse income, call, pledge, and maturity proceeds to customer’s received via Federal Reserve Bank and State Street Bank

• Create and send daily wires and ACH files

• Process manual payments as instructed by Front Office

• Balance activity related to Repos, Sweep, and Money Market Fund activities as received

• Complete monthly tasks and reporting requirements for both Commerce Trust and Capital Markets

• Reconcile outages related to Federal Reserve Bank and State Street Bank income

• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to learn new processes quickly and process moderately complex transaction independently

• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and casts a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

• Moderate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• Associates degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• 2+ years experience in securities cashiering/bond, safekeeping, brokerage, trust operations or previous customer service in banking or other financial fields required

• Experience with InTrader Bond Trading system and Bloomberg preferred
