      Job Purpose

      The purpose of this role is to provide the consumer perspective to marketing choices through market analysis and research, as well as to provide insights and ideas. The Consumer Insights & Research Manager will also deal with external entities in charge of research project implementation.

      Duties and Responsibilities

      Data Analysis and Research

      1. Defines and implements the appropriate research and methods to address knowledge gaps and translate technical knowledge into practical applications.
      2. Provides clear data-based suggestions that assist businesses in decision making and reducing uncertainty.
      3. Manages research projects efficiently in order to meet objectives on schedule and in full.
      4. Provides insights into how people's attitudes influence their behavior and collaborates with businesses to enable insight production.
      5. Finds new and improved methods of conducting research and incorporates them into the business.
      6. Uses multiple data sources to provide a framework for business planning and decision making.
      7. Generates insights on consumers, customers, and channels.
      8. Designs and monitors ad hoc research emerging from any part of the marketing department.

      Leadership and Project Management

      1. Ensures that all project stakeholders are informed of project progress, obstacles, and their responsibilities in project delivery.
      2. Introduces creative thinking strategies to produce smart discoveries.
      3. Encourages agencies to cultivate and use inquisitive thinking
      4. Evaluates innovative approaches and offers clear recommendations to the business on how to apply them.
      5. Works cross-functionally to understand the demands of many stakeholders and outline the requirements for research initiatives.
      6. Translates all collected knowledge into development potential for AB brands, and advises on how to play a meaningful role within brand categories.
      7. Briefs and manages research agencies on qualitative and quantitative research.
      8. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business challenges and set research objectives.
      9. Keeps project owners informed on research projects and oversees stakeholder connections until completion.
