Job Description

- Determine part inspection requirements from customer's blueprint features
- Administer and/or edit previously created programs
- Ensure the part-inspection programs are consistent with part number and revision level
- Operate computer programming hardware and software systems
- Analyze and troubleshoot fixed-type machine set-ups and inspections paths
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure and inspect automotive parts
- Utilize ERP software to input and analyze measurement data
- Perform inspections using various measurement gauges
- Collaborate with team members to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Communicate inspection results and quality issues to relevant departments
- Follow PPAP process guidelines for new product launches
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues
- Maintain status of key program deliverables from award through PPAP reviewing weekly the status with the
- Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience
- PPAP Process Experience
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Shop Math Skills
- Computer Skills
- High School / GED
- Root Cause Analysis
- Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated job diligence, attention to details and solid problem-solving skills
