Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.

Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff.

Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.

Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
-
Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulating residents using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
-
Follow infection control and safety procedures in compliance with facility policies.

Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to resident care plans.

Support residents' rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility guidelines.

Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in [State Name].

CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on facility policy).

Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred but not required.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and cleaning chemicals.
