      Job Title: CNA Program Director / NATCEP Trainer

      Location: San Antonio with occasional statewide – Texas travel Required

      Reports To: CNO and Regional Director of Clinical Services

      Position Summary:
      The CNA Program Director/Trainer is responsible for overseeing and delivering the NATCEP-approved nurse aide training program across multiple Eduro Healthcare facilities in Texas. This role ensures high-quality instruction, regulatory compliance, and successful certification outcomes. Additionally, the director supports regional clinical consultants with audits, remote monitoring, and clinical quality initiatives across multiple skilled nursing facilities.

      Key Responsibilities:

      NATCEP Program Oversight and Instruction:

      • Serve as the approved Program Director for NATCEP in Texas facilities.
      • Deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction for CNA students in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
      • Ensure curriculum alignment with NATCEP requirements and updates from HHSC and CMS.
      • Maintain accurate records, including student attendance, testing, and certification outcomes.
      • Coordinate student clinical rotations and oversee instructor performance, if applicable.
      • Track pass/fail rates and implement improvement plans as needed.

      Program Administration:

      • Ensure facilities offering NATCEP remain compliant with DADS/HHSC standards.
      • Prepare for and respond to state audits or surveys of the training program.
      • Manage enrollment, orientation, and ongoing communication with CNA students.
      • Develop educational materials and teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.

      Regional Clinical Support:

      • Collaborate with Regional Clinical Consultants to perform clinical audits, quality assurance rounds, and compliance reviews in multiple facilities.
      • Assist with root cause analysis, staff education, and corrective action plan development as needed.
      • Participate in remote monitoring and documentation reviews to ensure consistent standards of care and regulatory adherence.
      • Provide facility staff with training and coaching on clinical best practices.

      Travel Requirements:

      • Willing and able to travel to skilled nursing facilities across Texas.
      • Support both onsite and remote training, audits, and program oversight.

      Qualifications:

      • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas (required or able to attain).
      • Approved NATCEP Program Director by Texas HHSC (or eligible).
      • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a long-term care setting.
      • Teaching or staff development experience preferred.
      • Strong understanding of CMS and HHSC regulations for nurse aide training programs.
      • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
