      Bearon is looking for a CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team in Landisville, PA. Monday - Thursday from 3:00PM - 1:30AM. This person will operate our CNC Lathe Machines. Must be able to perform the following functions: work well with others; operate and program machines as required; maintain a clean and safe work area; must be open to perform any other duties as required; must be able to follow all processes and procedures related to machine operations and inspections. Should have a working knowledge of 5s and other Lean principles.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Operate CNC Lathe Machines
      • Verify positioning of cutting tools by using gauges or other instruments.
      • Install and adjust tooling, pick off collets and stops on the machine.
      • Work safely around equipment and co-workers
      • Daily maintenance activities
      • Flexibility with rotating assignments
      • Work as part of a team
      • Label finished product and keep track of material used in production
      • Keep area clean and organized

      COMPETENCIES:

      • Possess a mechanical aptitude and great organizational skills
      • Great attitude, attendance, and self-starter
      • Ability to use hand tools and read blueprints
      • Ability to use measuring tools and shop mathematics
      • Ability to stand for 8 hours
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds over the course of a shift
