Job Description

Set up, layout, and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines, specifically Haas equipment
-
Read and interpret blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications (dimensions, tolerances, tooling instructions)
-
Select, position, and secure tools in tool holders
-
Secure workpieces using chucks, fixtures, centers, or machine tables
-
Adjust machine settings including feed rate, cutting speed, and depth of cut
-
Start machine and monitor operations to ensure conformance to specifications
-
Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools to inspect workpieces
-
Communicate issues in diagrams or orders with supervisors or engineers
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area (5S standards)
-
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
-
Perform additional duties or rotate among various machining cells as required
-
Perform assembly functions using hand or power tools
-
Adjust, trim, and fit parts to close tolerances
-
Follow standard work instructions and visual aids
-
Conduct quality checks on finished parts
-
Package products with appropriate labeling and protective materials
-
Meet assigned efficiency and production targets
-
Report defective materials or questionable quality to supervisor or team lead

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC machines preferred
-
Experience with Haas machines required
-
5-Axis machine operation is a strong plus
-

Ability to interpret technical drawings and job specifications
-
Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
-
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction)
-
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
-
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
-
Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles is preferred
-
Ability to stand for 90% of the shift
-
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
-
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed work
-
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (steel toe boots, hearing protection, safety glasses)
Career Opportunity! 4- 10 hour schedule!
Starting Rate: $27.00/hr, paid weekly
Duration: 1 year+
2:15PM-12:45AM. 4 10-hour shifts. 2nd Shift: M-Th
