  Responsibilities

  Responsibilities Include:

  • Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including plasma cutting, brake press and VMC.

  • Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production, ensuring that results of machining process align with expectations.

  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines

  • Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.

  • Machine set up with first piece inspection preformed by operater.

  • Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.

  • Check machinery and complete autonomous maintenance calendars (CLIR) on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.

  • Maintain necessary records and record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.

  • Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.

  • Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.

  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.

  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Follow all standard operating procedures and established practices and processes.

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects through completion of suggestions and Kaizens.

  • Perform other duties as required or directed.

  Rate of Pay: $26.22 Hour

  Hours: 1st shift hours 5am-3:30pm Mon-Th & Overtime as needed

  Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in fabrication or CNC experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. This can include a combination of professional and/or educational experience.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
