Position Description As a CNC Machine Team Leader, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Providing leadership, direction, training and coordination Performing all manufacturing and production operations for respective work area in various machine shop work centers, including CNC Milling, Swiss Screw and Stamping Leading process and program improvement initiatives, as well as machine troubleshooting Ensuring adherence to Applied Quality Systems (QS) including; SOP's, MI's, QI's, TM's, engineering drawings and shop order operations and sequence Performing basic troubleshooting of CNC, Swiss Screw, Wire EDM, Spring Forming, and Stamping manufacturing processes Participating in the design and development of new products, materials, manufacturing processes, fixtures & equipment Assisting in the implementation of process improvements such as; Update machine parameters, perform efficiency studies, capacity analysis, etc. Assisting in root cause analysis for issues that may be related to machining, automated machines, or product/process design Meeting production, scheduling, and quality goals Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: High school graduate, General Education (GED) or relevant work equivalent 3+ years working in a machine shop, preferably with CNC Mills, Swiss Screw, Wire EDM, Spring Forming, and/or Stamping Experience with general machining and manufacturing processes Ability to develop and troubleshoot machinery, programs and processes Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment Ability to work on a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift Benefits The base compensation range for this role is $25 - $35 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable.
