- Set up and operate CNC machine centers, including 3 Axis Mills.
- Manipulate and learn to operate a water jet cutting machine.
- Support and operate manual machines as needed.
- Work on diverse projects, sometimes involving single-run parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise machining.
- 3-5 years of experience in a machine shop.
- Experience with Proto Trak is preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, mechanical operations, and changeovers.
- Ability to operate CNC and manual machines.
- Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to move between different machine centers as required.
- Commitment to learning and perfecting high-level machining techniques.

Work Environment
Our machine shop is located in Conway, NH, and features a range of advanced CNC and manual machining centers, including a waterjet cutter. We have invested significantly in capital improvements to enhance our operations. The shop currently has 17 machining centers and a close-knit team of 12 employees. We value a supportive and collaborative work environment, with a strong emphasis on community engagement.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conway, New Hampshire.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
